Tredaviam

  • Tredaviam is a futuristic translation of a sculpture from the past, brought to life by 3D printing. While a traditional sculptor shapes his works by removing material, Ervinck creates fluid forms and lines which include meaningful and deliberate empty spaces. Tredaviam is a clear example of this futuristic, dynamic vision. 3D printing enables the creation of an infinite movement of lines and shapes, and the use of color enhances this constant motion. Simultaneously, the brightly colored lines give the sculptures an artificial character and betrays the fact that this cannot have been created by nature.

Tredaviam was created using Adobe software and marked the announcement of a new partnership between Stratasys and the software giant in 2015. It is a compelling testament to the unique design possibilities that can be achieved with this combination
