JAYNE PIERSON: Presents Ceridwen

The collection inspired by mythology and nature enabled by 3DFashion™ technology makes its debut at London Fashion Week SS24

Jayne Pierson will premiere ‘Ceridwen,’ a collection of bespoke garments with 3D printed elements created in collaboration with world leading Additive Manufacturing solution provider, Stratasys at London Fashion Week. A number of firsts will be achieved through Pierson’s collection, including the introduction of industry-certified materials 3D printed direct-to-textile. These lenticular embellished textiles have been produced on 100% recycled ocean plastics provided through sustainability innovation leader Solaris Community.

Pierson’s Ceridwen collection with 3D printed motifs is inspired by Celtic mythology, organic shapes, and nature. The silhouettes are crafted in the spirit of luxury, and pay homage to the cultural process of reclaiming artefacts. Found objects are re-purposed, finding value in the discarded, unloved, and unwanted. Luxury takes on a brutal harmony, exploring and reabsorbing subcultural styles and commodification. This season Jayne Pierson’s runway show will present in mostly glass black, greyhound grey, pastel pink, and taupe, with tones of the iridescent rainbow trout and hen tail feathers.

Pierson continues to elevate her brand with each collection. This season she has partnered with Stratasys, providing 3DFashion™ direct-to-textile printing technology, 3D Designer, Travis Fitch (Fitchwork LLC), and nuForj, LLC a leading advanced manufacturing technologies advisory boutique, serving as Jayne’s Project Manager. The Ceridwen Collection collaboration with Stratasys provides full-colour, multi-material 3D printed elements on Jayne’s garments in new and innovative ways. Travis Fitch, as part of his long-standing collaboration with Naomi Kaempfer, Creative Director at Stratasys, have once again brought design vision to life together with Jayne Pierson’s exemplary style.

“I’m excited to work with Stratasys and their 3DFashion technology to present a new collection that captures my vision in a truly unique way. The collection is bespoke with zero waste and made precisely to client specifications, thus eliminating volume production of any kind and ensuring we maintain the core values of our brand, which are circularity, sustainability and social responsibility,” Pierson said. Naomi Kaempfer added “Jayne’s imperial garments are eloquently demonstrating how design vision can come to life with industry-certified materials and new digital technologies to change the way we dress. The collection is a wonderful expression of Welsh Celtic heritage and innovation”
