3D Printed Automotive Swatches

This swatch book showcases a collection of 3D printed designs on materials, tailored for the automotive industry. The designs were created using the Stratasys J850 TechStyle™ 3D printer on textiles from Alcantara, Ultrasuede, and Dinamica Miko. It highlights the sporty, practical, and lightweight nature of the designs used in the automotive industry, aiming to create a feeling of movement with smooth transitions, including the color trends for 2024.

Our creative team has masterfully incorporated automotive power and expression of movement into the designs while proving that with primary geometries, a dramatic and sophisticated elegance may be achieved in flow. By transitioning cubes, hexagons, triangles and arrays of dashes, mesmerizing patterns have emerged with colorful, striking visuals.

Extensive research into the color spectrum of 2024 trends within the automotive industry was conducted, resulting in the inclusion of novelty shades like sand colors, warm greys, old rose, and tones of light gold and olive green. Be inspired by the application of Stratasys' 3DFashion™ direct-to-textile 3D printing technology in industries, such as upholstery, wall coverings, luxury yacht and aircraft interiors.
