Sixth Element Collection by Stratasys.

This sublime moment encapsulates the powerful and unpredictable emotion of surprise. For this sculpture, Gever chose to produce the physical representation of a balloon bursting, capturing the moment between the mundane and the totally unexpected. It brings to question the valence of this mental and physiological state of surprise; pleasant or unpleasant, positive or negative? To produce this level of breath-taking visualization, the model was 3D printed in ultra-fine detail with the smooth surface area then painted in bold purples for further impact.
