KAIMIN
KAIMIN is a female-founded, high-tech, gender-fluid fashion label based in New York City. Through non-traditional, high-concept development, KAIMIN promotes innovation and inclusivity, collaborating closely with icons like Bjork, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, BLACKPINK and many others globally. The part-South Korean, part-Japanese KAIMIN founded her eponymous brand in 2016 together with her business partner Dmitri Pchelintsev.
Drawing inspiration from New York’s underground and street culture, while supporting various up-and-coming creatives, KAIMIN bridges social planes and empowers innovators across the spectrum. KAIMIN’s futuristic designs use elements of subculture and punk to create a surreal demeanor that is still delicate and feminine. Gender boundaries are intentionally de-emphasized, allowing KAIMIN’s signature love for abstraction and primeval sexuality to come to the fore in a playful way.
